1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded |
3 -4 tablespoons cilantro, minced, fresh |
2 -3 tablespoons onions, grated |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon instant minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/8-1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce |
1/4 cup parsley, minced, fresh |
assorted cracker |
Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese. 2. Add the cheese, cilantro,onion, chili powder, garlic, garlic salt, oregano, red pepper flakes,cumin and hot pepper sauce. 3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. 4. Shape into a ball. 5. Roll in parsley. 6. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. 7. Serve with crackers. 8. Yield: 1 cheese ball. |
