I found this recipe in Gourmet magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/4 cup lime juice |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
1/2 cup red wine |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram |
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme |
4 steaks (1 pound each) |
Directions:
1. Combine oil, lime juice, and Tabasco pepper sauce in a shallow, non-aluminum dish. Stir in wine, dry mustard, salt, and herbs. 2. Let steaks stand in marinade for five hours, turning once. |
