My sister and brother in law request that I make this whenever we visit them in San Antonio. So easy and so good. Ingredients:
12 baby red potatoes |
1/2 stick of butter (or less if dieting) |
1 tbls ancho chile powder |
1/2 tbls paprika (hot or sweet) i prefer sweet |
1 tsp lawry's garlic salt |
1-2 tbls franks hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Microwave potatoes until tender. Cut in halves. 2. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add spices and hot sauce to butter. 3. Put potatoes cut side down in butter mixture and fry till crisp, about 10 minutes. 4. To serve: plate the potatoes and pour the butter sauce thats left in the pan over them. 5. I like to crumble a little blue cheese over mine sometimes. 6. If you have leftovers, dice the next morning, fry in some butter and make some great fried potatoes!!! |
