Cholesterol Busters These freeze nicely, so why not make a bunch? Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 eggs |
3 mashed bananas |
1/2 cup sour milk |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 1/2 cups ground flax seeds |
1/2 cup wheat germ |
1 1/2 cups natural bran |
1 cup oat bran |
2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Blend first six ingredients well. Set aside. 2. Combine all other ingredients in a large mixing bowl. 3. Add wet mixture to dry, mixing just until blended. 4. Fill 30-36 muffin tins 3/4 full and bake 20-25 minutes. |
