Fettucine In Creamy Mushroom And Sage Sauce |

The sage cream sauce here sounds divine! Ingredients:
8 ounces spinach fettucine pasta |
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil |
1 shallot, chopped |
a clove garlic, minced |
4 ounces fresh oyster mushroom, chopped |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. 2. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. 3. Drain. 4. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. 5. Saute garlic and shallots until transparent. 6. Stir in mushrooms and cook until tender. 7. Mix in cream and sage. 8. Cook and stir until thickened. 9. Toss sauce with cooked fettucine. 10. Season with salt and pepper before serving. |
