Fettuccini With Bacon and Red Peppers |

I found this recipe on the internet and it absolutely sounds yummy... Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 small onion, sliced |
2 slices bacon, chopped |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (7 ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained, sliced |
1 cup frozen peas, thawed |
1/4 cup canned chicken broth |
12 ounces fettuccine, freshly cooked |
salt and pepper |
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, bacon and garlic and cook until onion is tender and bacon is cooked, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes. 2. Stir in peppers, peas and broth and simmer 1 minute. Transfer mixture to large bowl. 3. Add pasta and toss well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve, passing grated Parmesan separately. |
