Fettuccine with Tomato Clam Sauce

A lighter version.
Ingredients:
8 sun-dried tomatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup onion
2 cloves garlic
1 can whole clam (including the juice)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 ounces cooked fettuccine pasta
Directions:
1. Soak tomatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes.
2. Drain and puree.
3. Heat oil, add onion and garlic – cook 5 minutes.
4. Add remaining clam juice, broth, tomato paste and spices.
5. Bring to boil and simmer 15 minutes.
6. Add clams.
