This recipe can be prepared in 45 minutes or less. We like to serve this feta on crackers as an hors d'oeuvre. Thinly sliced into single-serving portions, it also makes a lovely sweet-yet-savory dessert. Ingredients:
2 1/2 teaspoons black peppercorns |
1 pound feta |
1/3 cup honey |
Directions:
1. With a mortar and pestle or the bottom of a heavy skillet coarsely crack peppercorns. 2. Pat feta dry and put on a platter. In a measuring cup stir together pepper and honey and pour over feta. |
