I threw this together one night, needed to use a few left over Roma Tomatoes. I didn't take measurements, but with a recipe like this it doesn't really matter.... Ingredients:
2 tomatoes, cut in half and carved out (i like roma best) |
1/3 cup ritz cracker |
1/2 cup feta cheese |
italian seasoning |
1/2 cup butter |
2 tablespoons french-fried onions |
Directions:
1. Prepare tomatoes. 2. Crush crackers and mix with Feta cheese and Italian Seasoning(amount you use depends on amount of tomatoes). 3. Stuff Tomatoes. 4. Sprinkle tops with crushed French Fried Onions. 5. Pour Melted butter on top. 6. Bake in oven at 350 for approx 10 minutes until top starts to brown. |
