This is a colorful, easy to make finger food for parties or gatherings that always gets rave reviews. Serve it with your favorite tortilla chips. Ingredients:
1 large can refried beans |
1/2 cup sour cream (regular or reduced fat) |
1/2 cup mayonnaise (regular or reduced fat) |
1 package old el paso or other taco seasoning (do not use chicken taco seasoning) |
1 package finely shredded cheddar cheese |
1 small can sliced black olives |
3-5 green onions, sliced (use both green & white portions) |
1-2 roma tomatoes, diced |
Directions:
1. Spread refried beans into an even layer on a standard cookie sheet (one with a rim/edge works best) or the bottom portion of a broiling pan. 2. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning in a medium sized bowl. Spread over refried beans to form a second layer on top of the beans. 3. Sprinkle with all of cheese to form a 3rd layer. Then top with black olives, green onions, and tomatoes. 4. Refrigerate until serving. Serve as a dip with tortilla chips. |
