Simple to prepare, this creamy onion dish is sure to become a holiday favorite. Ingredients:
4 cups sliced onion |
5 tablespoons butter |
1 cup heavy whipping cream |
salt to taste |
ground black pepper to taste |
2/3 cup parmesan cheese |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Saute onions in butter or margarine until transparent. Place in 2-quart baking dish. 2. In a small bowl, beat eggs well. Stir in cream, and season with salt and pepper. Pour mixture over onions, and sprinkle cheese. 3. Bake, uncovered, at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes. |
