A very colorful and great tasting fruit salad Ingredients:
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tbs. all-purpose flour |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
2 cans (11ounces each) mandarin oranges, drained |
1 can (20 ounces) pears, drained and chopped |
3 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced |
2 large unpeeled apples, chopped |
1 cup pecan halves |
Directions:
1. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. 2. Set pineapple aside 3. Pour juice into a small sauce pan; add sugar and flour. 4. Bring to a boil 5. Quickly stir in egg; cook until thickened 6. Remove from the heat; cool 7. Refrigerate. 8. In a large bowl, combine pineapple, oranges, pears, kiwi, apples and pecans 9. Pour dressing over and blend well 10. Cover and chill for 1 hour |
