This dish is not only very pretty on a holiday table, but its sweet creamy taste pairs up nicely with the crunchy pecans. I froze this in a plastic bowl, thawed it slightly to remove and then served it in a clear glass bowl to really show it off. Ingredients:
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple |
1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping |
1 banana, mashed |
1 (16 ounce) can cranberry sauce |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix the undrained pineapple, whipped topping, banana, cranberries and pecans in a bowl. 2. Pour into a freezer-proof dish. 3. Freeze until firm. 4. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving. 5. If desired, transfer salad to a pretty glass bowl. |
