This pretty melon colored drink has the true taste of the tropics. From Jane Butel's Hotter Than Hell cookbook, revised edition. Ingredients:
4 pineapple chunks |
1 tablespoon cream of coconut |
1 piece gingerroot, fresh, peeled, 2 inches |
1 ounce tequila, silver |
1 ounce rum, white |
1/2 ounce creme de almond |
1/2 tablespoon orange juice concentrate, frozen |
8 ice cubes |
1 cherries, marashino, with stem |
Directions:
1. Combine 2 pineapple chunks, cream of coconut, ginger, tequila, rum, creme de almond, orange juice and ice in blender. 2. Process until foamy. 3. Pour into glass, garnish with 2 pineapple chunksa nd maraschino cherry. |
