This is my super simple and quick prawn cutlet. Check out the video on my blog. Ingredients:
prawns |
dried breadcrumbs |
cornflour |
1 egg |
paprika |
salt |
pepper |
oil for frying |
sweet chili sauce |
fresh coriander |
Directions:
1. Prepare the prawns to your liking (remove tails, heads etc.) and pat them dry with paper towel 2. lightly beat the egg 3. combine breadcrumbs with a tsp of paprika and freshly cracked pepper 4. dip each prawn in turn into the cornflour, egg and finally breadcrumb mixture. 5. Drop prawns into around 2cm of hot oil and deepfry until golden brown 6. Place prawns on paper towel to drain slightly. 7. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander sweet chili sauce. |
