I found this recipe on the net per a recipe request. There was no processing time attached. I would process 10 minutes. Ingredients:
2 lbs feijoas, peeled and sliced |
1/2 cup water |
1 lemon, juice and zest of |
4 cups warmed white sugar |
Directions:
1. Place feijoas, water, lemon juice and zest in a large stainless steel pot and bring to a boil over medium heat, and cook until fruit is soft, around 15 minutes. 2. Add warmed sugar and stir until it dissolves. 3. Bring jam to a rapid boil and boil without stirring until the mixture reaches the setting point, around 20 minutes. 4. Pour jam into hot sterilized jars, seal and process. |
