A light textured dumpling-great for topping your family's favorite chicken soup. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 egg, well beaten |
2 tablespoons melted butter |
2/3 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Sift together they dry ingredients. 2. Add egg, melted butter and enough milk to make a moist, stiff batter. 3. Drop by teaspoon into boiling soup. 4. Cook, covered without peeking for 18-20 minutes. 5. Serve and enjoy. |
