Favorite Pineapple Lime Congealed Salad |

So easy. This is a wonderful congealed salad for hot, summer days. It's especially good with chicken salad! Ingredients:
1 large box lime jello |
1 8 ounce package philiadelphia cream cheese, softened |
1-20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained |
water |
chopped pecans, optional |
Directions:
1. Drain pineapple, reserving juice 2. In measuring cup, add pineapple juice and enough water to measure 2 cups 3. Heat this to boiling 4. Meanwhile, in bowl place lime jello and softened cream cheese 5. Pour boiling water/juice mixture over this 6. Stir until dissolved 7. Add crushed pineapple, stirring lightly 8. Add nuts if desired 9. Place in dish and refrigerate until congealed 10. Cut into squares when ready to serve |
