Use ground turkey instead of ground beef for healthier chili or replace meat with extra beans for a vegetarian option. Ingredients:
0.12 pound pinto beans |
14 ounces tomato |
1 pound ground turkey |
1 green pepper |
1 onion |
2 cloves garlic |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Completely soften beans by cooking in boiling water on the stove. Drain beans. 2. Put all ingredients in crock pot and sit. 3. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 5-6 hours. 4. Serve with sour cream or cheese if desired. |
