My favorite variation. Ingredients:
12 ounces frozen cranberries |
1 cup fresh orange juice |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup liquid honey |
1 cinnamon stick |
5 whole cloves |
Directions:
1. Over medium low heat combine first five ingredients in a medium sauce pan. 2. Tie whole cloves in cheese cloth submerge in cranberry mixture and bring to a slow boil. 3. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 25 minutes. 4. Remove lid and cook for an additional 5 minutes. 5. You can add the zest from one orange for an additional layer of flavor. |
