A taste sin- sation. Ingredients:
2 lbs. pork stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes |
2 tbls cooking oil |
1 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped |
4 green onions, sliced |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
2 jars (12oz) green chili salsa |
1 can (13 oz) tomatilla entero |
hot cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Place meat in Dutch oven with water to cover. 2. Bring to boiling: reduce heat. 3. Simmer, covered, 1 hour. 4. Cool; drain. 5. In same pan heat oil. 6. Brown meat on all sides. 7. Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic; cook until tender. 8. Stir in Salsa and Tomatillos; cover and simmer 30 minutes. 9. Serve over hot rice or with flour torillas. |
