2 cups frozen peas |
1/4 cup fat free sour cream |
3 tablespoons ripe avocados |
1 tablespoon lime juice |
3 garlic cloves |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon hot sauce |
1 large tomato, chopped |
1 cup onion, chopped finely |
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (optional) |
Directions:
1. Microwave the frozen peas in a covered bowl for 2 minutes. 2. Drain and lay on a paper towel to absorb all the water. 3. In a food processor, chop the peas, sour cream, avocado, lime juice, garlic, cumin, and hot sauce. 4. Stir in the tomatoes and onions. 5. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. 6. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. |
