1/2 cup butter |
3/4 cup flour |
2 cups milk |
3 cups chicken broth |
2 cups cooked chicken, chopped |
1/2 cup green chili pepper, roasted and chopped |
1 pinch garlic powder |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large skillet and whisk in flour over medium heat. 2. Gradually ad milk and chicken broth, whisking well to prevent lumps. 3. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. 4. Add the chicken, chiles, garlic powder, salt and pepper and stir well. 5. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes. |
