On a yellowed card with the title of Betty's Chile , just ingredients no directions so toss everything in a pot and cook. Don't know who Betty is, but I want to thank her for this easy recipe that can be whipped up very quickly with things on hand. Not a fire and brimstone chile, just a simple chile that kids and adults can eat. :)shirley(: Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 large onion |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
28 ounces tomatoes |
20 ounces red chili sauce, las palmas |
15 ounces kidney beans |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. In skillet large enough to hold all ingredients brown ground beef, drain off fat if necessary. 2. Add onions and garlic saute until clear. 3. Add rest of ingredients. 4. Simmer 20-30 minutes. 5. Salt and pepper to taste. |
