Ingredients:
1 cup white corn syrup |
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
1/2 cup pecan halves |
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients and pour into a pastry shell. 2. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. 3. Reduce oven temp. 4. to 350 degrees. 5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling edges are firm and the centre is slightly soft. |
