Very tasty, leaves the chops very tender. Ingredients:
4 pork loin chops |
flour |
salt and pepper |
4 potatoes, sliced |
1 large onion, sliced |
1 clove garlic, chopped |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 tablespoon shortening |
Directions:
1. Trim excess fat from chops. 2. Roll in Flour. 3. Brown chops and garlic in 1 T. 4. Shortening over medium heat. 5. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Place potatoes in baking dish, top with browned chops. 7. Seperate onion slices into rings; layer over chops. 8. Blend sour cream with dry mustard, pour over top of onions. 9. Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
