Ingredients:
3 (28-ounce) cans whole peeled tomatoes
1 (3 1/2-ounce) can green chiles, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 yellow onion, diced
2 teaspoons susie q's santa maria seasoning, recipe follows
2 to 3 drops hot sauce (recommended: tabasco sauce)
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients, making sure to break up the tomatoes to your desired consistency. Chill for at least 30 minutes and then serve with your favorite chips.
2. Susie Q's Santa Maria Seasoning:
3. Salt
4. Black pepper
5. Garlic powder
6. Parsley, minced
7. Sugar
8. Blend all ingredients, to taste, together in a small bowl. Use to season your salsa.
