Easy, quick, lighthearted and wholesome chicken soup. Great for an evening in watching a flick or for a huge crowd...this soup is sure to please. I had boiled some chicken breasts for chicken salad and didn't wanna waist the broth so I cam up with this chicken soup. Super easy, super quick and super good. Ingredients:
3 -4 cups water |
2 skinless chicken breasts |
1 (12 ounce) package fettuccine pasta, broke into 2-3-inch pieces |
1 carrot, cleaned, shredded |
1 celery rib, cleaned, chopped |
3 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon |
1 pinch salt |
1 dash pepper |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Add chicken breast and salt to water. Bring to a boil. Cook chicken for about 10 minute Remove chicken breast from water. Add noodles. Return broth to a slow boil, cook noodles while chicken cools. Allow chicken to cool so you can handle it. Cut chicken into chunks or pull apart. Add to broth along with remaining ingredients. Allow to simmer for about 15 minutes Stirring occassionally. |
