This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Wade Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1981. Ingredients:
16 ounces cream cheese softened |
1 tablespoon bottled steak sauce |
1/2 teaspoon curry powder |
1-1/2 cups minced cup cooked chicken |
1/3 cup minced celery |
1/4 cup chopped toasted almonds |
crackers |
Directions:
1. Beat together first 3 ingredients. Blend in next 2 ingredients and 2 tablespoons parsley. Refrigerate remaining parsley. Shape mixture into a 9” log. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 4 hours or overnight. Toss together remaining parsley and almonds; use to coat log. Serve with crackers. |
