FAMOUS CHEESY ARTICHOKE DIP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Viler Estate in Georgetown, Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
1/2 bunch green onions |
1/2 pint sour cream |
7-1/2 ounces mayonnaise |
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 cup artichoke hearts chopped |
1 clove fresh garlic minced |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper |
Directions:
1. Mince white and green parts of green onion. 2. Combine all ingredients and mix well with wire whip until thoroughly combined. 3. Heat in double boiler on stove top until hot to the touch but do not boil. 4. Serve with bread cubes or crackers. |
