Slowly simmered to blend the flavors, this beef chili with bell pepper, kidney beans, tomatoes, and spices is a hearty dish for a cool night. Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
1 (15.5 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed |
1 (14.5 ounce) can hunt's® diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 cup kraft grated parmesan cheese, divided |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Add pepper and onions; cook 5 min., stirring frequently. 2. Add beans, tomatoes, seasonings and 1/4 cup cheese; stir. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. 3. Served topped with remaining cheese. |
