I found this recipe on a Heinz recipe card. I have not tried it, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
16 ounces pork and beans |
1 1/2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes with onions and bell peppers |
1/2 lb velveeta cheese spread, cubed |
1/2 lb frankfurter, cut into 1-inch pieces (hot dogs) |
1/2 cup heinz ketchup |
Directions:
1. Combine pork and beans, potatoes, 1/4 pound Velveeta, frankfurters and ketchup; mix lightly. Spoon bean mixture into 2-quart casserole. 2. Bake at 375, 25 minutes. Top with remaining Velveeta; continue baking until Velveeta begins to melt. |
