The aromatic flavors of orange, rum and brandy in this bread secure its' place as a favorite for the Fall harvest and throughout the holiday season. Photo by: Katy Stovall Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups flour |
1-1/4 tsp baking soda |
1 15-oz can pumpkin |
2 eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup cooking oil |
grated orange zest |
1/2 tsp grated fresh nutmeg |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1 tsp vanilla |
1/2 tsp orange flavoring |
1/2 tsp rum flavoring |
1/2 tsp brandy flavoring |
Directions:
1. Mix flour & baking soda; set aside. 2. Mix all other ingredients; beat well. 3. Add flour mixture slowly, beating at low just until combined. 4. Pour into 4 greased mini-loaf pans or one large greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes for mini-loaf pans; about 1 hour for large loaf pan. |
