What a tasty coleslaw!! With the apple you get soch a sweetness, that it is just delicious! Ingredients:
2 cups cabbage, shredded |
2 carrots, shredded |
2 whole green onions, thinly sliced |
1 apple, chopped |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
generous pinch pepper |
Directions:
1. Shred cabbage and carrots. Turn into a large bowl. Thinly slice green onion, and chop apple. Stir cabbage mixture. 2. In a small bowl, stir mayonnaise, with vinegar, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Stir mayonnaise mixture into vegetables. Toss well. Refrigerate for at least an hour to chill and give flavors a chance to blend. Refrigerated coleslaw will keep for at least a day. 3. Stir just before serving. |
