My grandmother and I always used to make these together when i was younger. So simple, yet so yummy! They're great for parties (especially children's) and you can decorate them however you like, which provides ALOT of fun! I usually just ice mine with plain icing, but they're delicious with coffee or chocolate icing too. They never last very long in my household! Enjoy. =] Ingredients:
115 g soft margarine |
115 g caster sugar |
115 g self raising flour |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 185°C. 2. Sift the flour in to a bowl and add eggs, margarine and sugar. Beat really well until nice and smooth. 3. Divide the mixture into small bun cases. 4. Cook for around 15 minutes (may need longer though depending on your oven). 5. Remove from the oven when they are well risen and when gently touched on top they spring back up afterwards. 6. Leave to cool and then decorate. |
