Roll it thin for crispy or roll it thick, and the bottom will still be crispy. Honey is the key to this recipe. So, so easy. Recipe makes two large pizza crusts or several small ones. I cook this is a Calphalon pizza pan and it is fabulous! Read more ! Ingredients:
4 cups all purpose flour |
1 package dry yeast (not rapid) |
1-1/4 cups warm water |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. In mixer bowl with paddle 2. Add flour, yeast, turn on low to mix gently 3. In measuring cup, mix remaining ingredients 4. Pour into flour, yeast mixture 5. With paddle, mix well, maybe 2 minutes on low 6. May add dough hook, but I find the paddle works well 7. Place dough in an olive oil greased bowl 8. Cover with wrap 9. Let rise for about 30 minutes 10. Roll out in pan with a pizza roller, OR roll out with rolling pin and place in pan 11. Add your favorite pizza ingredients 12. Favorites are a little pizza sauce, sausage, feta cheese, onion, Kalamata olives, mozzarella cheese, oregano leaves, Italian seasoning |
