Delicious quiche, easy to make and that DIVA taste that says you have broken a manicured nail over this! My friends nd family request this weekly! Ingredients:
pillsbury ready to go pie crust (diva's don't make their own! wink, wink) |
6 eggs - i use the free range brown vegetarian fed (what else ) |
2 cups half & half |
2 cups grated swiss cheese |
2 cups american grated ( i use the block land o' lakes, but any fave block american will do). |
jimmy dean sausage ( in your fave flavor-i use regular) in the tube |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Place pie crust in deep dish pie dish and bake at 425 for 6 minutes 2. Brown the Jimmy Dean sausage, drain excess fat and set aside. 3. Beat eggs and Half & Half together, add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper 4. Place 1 cup of swiis and 1 cup of American in pie dish 5. Place browned JD sausage on top of that 6. Place 1 c. swiss and 1 c. American cheese on top of sausage 7. Pour egg mixture over top and Bake at 425 for 15 minutes and then turn down to 350 for another 30-45 min. At 30 minutes check to see if it is done, you can tell be browned top and firmness! 8. Enjoy your DIVA breakfast!! Let me know how you LOVE it!! |
