I have not tried this recipe. I'm posting this recipe for safe keeping. I got this recipe from Fitness Rx For Women. Each serving contains 1 milk and 2 very lean proteins. I plan to use decaff. tea. Ingredients:
1 chai tea teabags |
1 cup nonfat milk |
1 tablespoon isolated vanilla whey protein powder (14 grams of protein) |
1 teaspoon splenda sugar substitute |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
4 ice cubes |
Directions:
1. Heat the milk in the microwave and pour over the tea bag and brew for 5-8 minutes. 2. Cool in refrigerator. Pour the milk into a blender, and add the remaining ingredients. Blend 1 minute or until smooth. |
