It works really well with rice or noodles. Ingredients:
1/4 cup canola oil |
1 onion |
3 garlic cloves |
1/2-1 inch ginger |
3 -4 steaks (pieces of steak, cut thin) |
2 teaspoons red pepper flakes |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1/2 lime |
7 ounces water |
1/2 cup peanuts |
1 teaspoon cumin seed |
1/8 teaspoon asafetida powder |
1 pinch turmeric |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a wok or pan. 2. Make a paste or the onion, garlic and ginger. Then brown them in the pan. 3. Add the peanuts and cumin then wait untill it is brown. 4. After that, stir the steak inches Add the red pepper, tumeric, asafetida, (tumeric and asafetida are optional), soy sauce, lime and waterl. 5. When the steak is done, serve over rice or noodle. 6. You can garnish on the side with cilantro or green onions. |
