Ingredients:
1/3 cup(s) butter |
14 ounce(s) chicken broth |
3 piece(s) cooked chicken breasts, chopped |
1/4 cup(s) dry vermouth |
2 tablespoon(s) flour |
1 cup(s) fresh mushrooms, halved |
1/3 cup(s) grated parmesan cheese |
1/8 teaspoon(s) nutmeg |
3 tablespoon(s) olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon(s) season salt |
4 ounce(s) uncooked angel hair pasta |
2/3 cup(s) whipping cream |
1/2 teaspoon(s) white pepper |
Directions:
1. in a skillet saute the mushrooms in butter. remove mushrooms leaving melted butter in skillet. sprinkle flour over butter. cook on low heat for 2 minutes stirring constantly. 2. gradually stir in chicken broth, simmer, while stirring until thickened and smooth. remove from heat and add vermouth, cream, chicken, mushrooms and seasoning. 3. cook the pasta according to package directions, drain, in a large bowl comabine the pasta and chicken mixture, mixing gentrly. spoon into a buttered 3 qt baking dish. sprinkle with cheese. bake at 350 for 30 minutes |
