Evereyone's favorite salad says it all. I fix it when I'm in a pinch for something quick. Ingredients:
1 head iceberg lettuce, torn |
4 c. baby spinach |
14-oz. can bean sprouts, drained |
8 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled |
1/2 c. oil |
3/4 c. sugar |
1/3 c. catsup |
1/4 c. vinegar |
1 t. worcestershire sauce |
1 onion, chopped |
garnish: 3 eggs, hard-boiled, peeled and sliced |
Directions:
1. In a large serving bowl, toss together the first 4 ingredient; set aside. Whisk together remaining ingredients except eggs in a small bowl. 2. Drizzle dressing over salad. 3. Garnish with egg slices. Serves 6 to 8. 4. Croutons and whatever else you have on hand can enhance this EASY salad! |
