Everyday Food Banana Bread |

This is a really nice banana bread recipe. It is from the Woman's Day Everyday Food magazine ( Valentine's Day special little book ). Ingredients:
125 g butter |
3/4 c brown sugar ( i use 1/2 cup ) |
2 eggs |
1 c mashed banana |
1.5 c self raising flour |
1 tsp baking soda |
3/4 c sour cream ( i use 1/4-1/2 cup ) |
1 tbsp milk |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar, add in eggs. 2. Transfer mix to a bowl and add in banana, dry ingredients, sour cream and milk. 3. Bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour. 4. I bake min for 45 minutes in a 145 degree forced fan oven here in Australia. 5. Ice with caramel icing or serve plain :o) Both ways are delicous! |
