Esperanza Il Forno Salad Dressing |

This is the house dressing for Il Forno New York Pizza & Pasta in Lawrenceville GA. It is very herby yet incredeibly creamy. I made it using a base recipe found on this site, so, I thought I would return the favor and post it here. It is not exactly like the Mellow Mushroom's but it is pretty good. Sorry for the large amount but I go through a gallon a week of this. Ingredients:
4 cups extra virgin olive oil |
3 ounces granulated garlic |
4 1/2 ounces dried oregano |
4 ounces basil |
3 ounces pepper |
1 ounce salt |
2 1/2 ounces onion powder |
8 ounces spicy brown mustard |
8 ounces red wine vinegar |
1 quart mayonnaise |
1 1/2 ounces white pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Let stand in fridge for at least 24 hours before intended use.
