A smoothie- type drink sold in Mexico City. It is made with evaporated milk which is what makes it different from other smoothies. It is almost like a milkshake, but healthier.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 cup fruit (strawberries, mango, mamey, or papaya)
1 cup crushed ice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon wheat germ, if desired (optional)
2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
ground cinnamon, to garnish
Directions:
1. Blend all the ingredients except the cinnamon in a blender and serve, garnishing with cinnamon.
