A smoothie- type drink sold in Mexico City. It is made with evaporated milk which is what makes it different from other smoothies. It is almost like a milkshake, but healthier. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk |
1 cup fruit (strawberries, mango, mamey, or papaya) |
1 cup crushed ice |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon wheat germ, if desired (optional) |
2 tablespoons sugar (to taste) |
ground cinnamon, to garnish |
Directions:
1. Blend all the ingredients except the cinnamon in a blender and serve, garnishing with cinnamon. |
