After seeing this newspaper recipe, I thought, oh my gosh, maybe someone would love this as much as the person who submitted it and either prepared it to relegate to celebrate aa birthday or for someone who passed away someone resented! Read more !! Go figure!!!!! Sense of humor no doubt! Ingredients:
1 tin of escargot ( snails )drained |
several cloves of garlic fine chopped |
lots of several kinds of mushrooms sliced |
clarafied butter as needed |
pizza dough ( storebought, or home made ) |
1 roma tomato seeded and chopped |
marinara sauce as needed |
shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese as desired |
romano and parmesan cheese as desired |
Directions:
1. In a non stick skillet saute in butter the escargot and garlic just until the escargot begin to shrink a bit 2. Spoon some of the butter from the pan to greased the pizza pan 3. remove escargot from pan and set aside 4. Cook mushrooms in remaining butter with garlic and butter 5. Spread pizza dough on pan, top with sauce as desired 6. Sprinkle on the diced tomato and cover with cheeses and then top with mushroom 7. Add the escargot 8. Bake in a 375 oven until crust turns brown around the edges 9. Note: enjoy with a good dark beer and eat it all before someone comes home and horns in on it!!! |
