8 lbs boneless pork roast |
1 1/2 gallons water |
4 tablespoons salt |
4 tablespoons sugar |
1 garlic clove |
2 bay leaves |
5 peppercorns |
dried thyme |
3 red onions (chopped) |
butter |
2 cups honey |
2 cups balsamic vinegar |
1/2 lb butter |
Directions:
1. .Bring Water, salt, sugar, garlic, cloves, bay leaves, peppercorn, & thyme to a boil. Let cool and Marinade pork for 12 to 24 hours. 2. Roast pork at 350 degrees for 2 to 2 1/2 hours until done to your liking. 3. Make sauce:. 4. caramelize onions in butter, add honey, balsamic vinegar reduce until slightly thickened and stir in 1/2 lb butter. |
