I created this chicken salad for my sister's bridal shower. She hates mayonaise so I made some substitutions and it was a huge hit! It was liked so much that we made it and served it at my cousins wedding reception. It works best when you use bottled Hidden valley ranch dressing. It's ok, but not quite the same made with the stuff in the envelope. I love it served on crackers. It tastes best if you make it a day ahead and let the flavors blend. Ingredients:
1 (13 ounce) can chicken |
2 teaspoons garlic pepper seasoning |
1/2 cup hidden valley® original ranch® dressing |
Directions:
1. Drain chicken, and mix in dressing and garlic pepper. You may vary the amounts of dressing and garlic pepper according to your tastes. 2. Refrigerate a few hours to let flavors blend. 3. Serve as a sandwich or on crackers. |
