A very tasty Native American treat:) it was givin to me by my Native American Kallie:) I tried it out on my Rez and it was the talk of the Rez for that whole summer:) Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 cup blueberries |
Directions:
1. Mix the dry ingredients together, the add the water quickly &. 2. continue to stir. 3. Spread batter on a pie plate & put in a preheated oven heated to 425°F. 4. Bake for 20 minutes. Cut in pieces & serve hot or cold. Excellent. 5. with mint tea. |
