fluffy but flavorful Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder |
1/4 tsp baking powder |
1/4 tsp salt |
1 large egg |
2 large egg whites |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract |
2 tbsp chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 8x8 baking pan with cooking spray. 2. In a medium bowl shift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl whisk the egg and egg whites until frothy. Whisk in sugar, oil and vanilla until smooth. 3. Gradually fold in flour mixture until just blended. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with nuts. 4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool in pan and cut. |
