This firm loaf can be sliced thick for crisp toast or toasted cheese sandwiches. It's a very traditional loaf and tastes wonderful. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon active dry yeast |
2 cups bread flour |
2 tablespoons powdered milk |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 egg |
3/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Load ingredients according to your manufacturer's instructions. 2. If your bread tends to be a little doughy, cut back slightly on the vegetable oil. |
